Laragh GFC

We had a large turnout at our dinner dance last Friday night. County Board representative, Victor O'Shaughnessy, appealed to young people to stay away from drink and drugs and instead get their buzz from donning the Laragh jersey and playing the game. Club chairman, Richard Cullen, thanked all who attended and Lynhams for providing an excellent meal. He also spoke of the great tradition in Laragh for the game stretching back over 100 years and the hope that it will continue for many more years. This year's Club Person of the Year went to Brian Windsor and Footballer of the Year went to Brendan Ward. Medals were presented to the team as winners of the Carter Cup.
